RevitaVet Congratulates the Rolex Competitors!

RevitaVet  congratulates all the 2012 competitors on another exciting year at the Rolex Ky 3 Day Event!!  William Fox-Pitt pulled in his second win of the Rolex Grand Slam aboard Parklane Hawk, winning on a score of 45.3 and a narrow margin of 1.7 points over Allison Springer on Arthur.   It wasn’t easy,  as he noted that he would need a little luck to win this year.

Allison Springer and Arthur gave William a run for the money, and this year her training & conditioning efforts paid off.  Not only did Allison finished a close second behind William on a score of 47, but she was also awarded Best Conditioned Horse.  Well done Allison!

Boyd Martin on Otis Barbotiere and Karen O’Connor riding Mr. Medicott, finished 3rd and 4th respectively, both ending on a score of 51.  With Boyd being closer to the optimum time on XC, he was awarded the 3rd place spot over Karen. Clearly both Otis and Mr. Medicott will give the Olympic selectors something to think about!  Boyd also finished 8th on Remington XXV while Phillip Dutton on Mighty Nice were 10th and Fernhill Eagle took 12th.

RevitaVet rider Jordan Linstedt (Redmond, WA) and Tullibards Hawkwind competed in their first Rolex 4* and showed raw determination in order to finish the event.  We give Jordan and Jack all the credit in the world for completing the event, regardless as to their final score.  It took a lot of guts and heart to get around the technically grueling XC course which saw half the field either get eliminated or retire.

Congratulations to all of the competitors and RevitaVet riders who made this event another good show.   We are proud to say that 3 of the top 4 finishers and 6 of the top 12 finishers are RevitaVet sponsored riders, and a whopping 35 percent of the original starting field are RevitaVet users!

Thank you all for your continued support.

Phillip Dutton claims CIC3* at the Fork HT

What a weekend at the Fork in Norwood,NC. The weahther finally turned sunny for the weekend. It was a very busy weekend with venues going on since Thursday and lot of horses competing. I wouldn't have survives this weekend without a golf cart. It's a must in this facility. This was also the first time I walked the Advanced course to its completion and I managed to do it without the need of an oxygen tank. RevitaVet sponsored riders did rather well. Phillip Dutton held his ground to win a very exciting CIC3* from a huge field of 60 original entries. In fact 5 of the top 6 CIC3* finishers were RevitaVet sponsored. Karen O'Connor had a Daily Double posting wins, 1st & 2nd in the CIC2*, Allison Springer wins the Advanced, while Lauren Kieffer takes in Prelim and Training. Congratulations to all of you. It's always great visiting the East Coast riders and those of you West Coasters that made it to this great event hosted by Bernadette and Jim Cogdell, two of the classiest people on this planet.

Galway Downs International!

The weather on both coasts has been tremendously unusual lately, with an epic snowstorm on the east coast and an equally epic amount of rain at Galway Downs! The massive amounts of rain brought back memories of Fair Hill 2009, and it was a tough weekend for both the riders and the vendors exhibiting at Galway.
Barbara Crabo Celebrating in the Rain!
Competing in such weather conditions on the west coast can be extremely challenging to riders who are accustom to dry footing. It presents a whole new set of challenges for the horses, who become much more sore in such deep conditions. Tom spent most of his time in the stabling area treating horses with sore backs and fetlocks and catering to his own competition horse, RevitaVet Capato, who was running in his first CCI 1*. RevitaVet was in heavy use this weekend and was able to help several competitors in all 3 FEI divisions prepare their horses for the jog after completing a tough XC.
James Alliston on Jumbo's Jake
James Alliston (pictured above) had an enormously successful weekend with wins in both the CCI1* on Mojo and CCI3* on Jumbo's Jake, and a 2nd in the CCI2* on Tivoldi (by .4 points).  Barb Crabo also had a winning streak taking first in the CCI1* Steeple Chase on Over Easy and 3rd in the CCI3* riding Eveready II.
Tom, Robert Kellerhouse
Young California Rider Maxance McManamy (pictured above) continued to prove she is a real talent for the future by finishing 3rd overall from a field of 29 starters in the CCI2*. She was awarded a RevitaVet system for having the best CCI2* Young Rider score.  RevitaVet Capato also came in a very respectable 10th place out of a field of 45 horses in the CCI 1*!  FULL EVENT RESULTS

This week we'll be heading East to be an exhibitor at the Equine Affair in Springfield, Mass.

"Equine Affaire serves horsepeople and the horse industry nationwide with annual events in Massachusetts and Ohio. Each exposition offers exceptional opportunities to learn, shop, network, and be entertained for horse enthusiasts of all disciplines, breed persuasions, and skill levels.

This is an enormous equestrian trade show, open to the public, so come on out & go shoppping!!
